So you might be wondering, where do I get all of these brilliant recipes? Well, I wish I could tell you that they all originated from my kitchen. But in truth, they don’t. I don’t have enough time to dedicate more efforts into the art of cooking. Midterms and finals love to get in the way. Luckily for us, there are others who have the whimsical job of cooking all day and sharing it with the rest of us. Here are a few that I will be pulling from:

The Food Network:

  • This might just be the site that I visit the most. They are completely dedicated to the art of cooking. They are great for also watching entertaining episodes on how to cook certain recipes since they also have a channel on T.V. where they host different cooking shows

Cooking Light:

  • Cooking Light is fantastic. Here, an entire website that is completely aimed to cooking lighter. Whether it they have taken popular and / or delicious recipes and cut them back to fit a healthier lifestyle, whether though the ingredients or the amount. But in general, their entire aim is to have light meals that will not have too much of an effect on the waistline.

Eating Well:

  • Also found in the print form of a magazine, here it is, a community based solely on eating fresh and on eating healthy. This may start to seem redundant so far, but to have so many source options of where to pull exciting new food from, where’s the harm in that?

Mayo Clinic:

  • With the rising epidemic of obesity, the Mayo Clinic take on the mission of empowering people to manage their health. One of the tools that they implement is that of healthy recipes.

All recipes:

  • Just about anything edible that your stomach can ever think of can be found here. Just look, its in the name, “ALL.” You can’t go wrong now.

Food Fit:

  • Have an exact factor you want to try to cut back on? Well, food fit has implemented a great tool that has tagged each recipe with categories such as “low-fat” or “low in sugar.” So, cut the chase, and get right to it.

Ace Fitness:

  • More athletically inclined? Well, Ace Fitness is solely dedicated to just that. Through their aid, you have the ability to not only find out ways to improve your workout, but also to become certified to help others increase their physical activity as well. What else is an important factor in this battle? The food that is taken into the body, so they also conveniently

Mom’s Who Think:

  • Raising a family is hard enough. And knowing that kids don’t come with a guide-book geared specifically to their personality, well, lets just say that the task can be even more daunting at times. So Mom’s Who Think gives more power to the mom’s, empowering them through tips and advice, and ways to help keep their family well nd strong.

Kashi:

  •  Well, we have all heard their slogan tossed around everywhere, “7 Whole Grains.” How could we miss it? But thank goodness for them. Of course everything in moderation, but to have a company that is focused on emphasizing the benefits of whole grains. But they don’t just stop here, they look all al parts of healthy food and try and encompass it and make it accessible to the average man. Oh yeah, Bon appetite!

All Bran:

  • Since we were little, we’ve grown up hearing this as well, Kellogg’s. It was plastered on about 1/2 of the cereals we ingested. But as the increase of the awareness of healthier foods has been in place, they have also. (Maybe I only notice this since I am now older) But, they are promoting All-Bran, a cereal that can help boost the daily fiber intake, with not only breakfast, but for all meals.
